“WHAT YOU SAY TO OTHERS MATTERS — SO MAKE IT KIND” That was our mantra as we celebrated Pink Shirt Day today with a with a fun and delicious Pink afternoon tea. Children and caregivers spent the week creating “warm fuzzy” jars for each other and today the jars were presented to their owners. The warm fuzzies are written compliments and a jar full of warm fuzzies can cheer you up on a tough day! It was all part of taking a stand against bullying and using words to uplift others rather than drag them down. Health and wellbeing programme lead Danijela was delighted with tamariki engagement in the activities and said they loved the idea of making others feel happy and appreciated.
